Domino Theatre presents Leading Ladies

Domino launches its 61st season with a Ken Ludwig comedy-farce, Leading Ladies.

Two down on their luck Shakespearean actors (Leo & Jack) pass themselves off as two females (Maxine & Stephanie)- (Shades of Some Like it Hot), in an effort to inherit $2 million. Throw in a suspicious clergyman, a doddering octogenarian, two love-struck young women and an inept doctor who can't tell whether the old girl is alive or dead and you have a rollicking night of theatre that includes fencing, Shakespeare passages, Tango dancing and hilarious mix-ups - such is Ken Ludwig's Leading Ladies.

Directed by Ken Weston, the cast includes: Mary Barclay, Steve McNalley, Robert McMahon, Kelti Roy, Kaitlyn Palmer, Randy Johnston and as the Leading Ladies - Bill Bustard and James Gow.

Leading Ladies opens in the Davies Auditorium of the Domino Theatre, 52 Church Street on September 5 and plays Thursday to Saturday until September 21. Tickets @$20 are available through the Grand Theatre box office or at the Domino box office 1 hour before the 8 pm curtain. Seniors and students $18 Thursdays. Special student rate of $10 on opening night available at the Domino ticket office only - just show your student card.
