Domino Theatre presents Welfarewell by Cat Delaney
April 24th to May 10th Thursday to Saturday

An 80 year old former Shakespearean actress has a wee bit of trouble with the police. She finds the accommodation in the jail quite comfortable and decides to try to move in permanently.

Directed by Katie Flower Smith—an actress, director and producer of long standing at Domino—and starring Elizabeth Taylor, this comedy will be a fun-filled evening. A cast of eleven, some actors playing multiple parts, bring this comedy to life.

The play by Cat Delaney won the 2009 Samuel French Playwriting Competition and has been produced all over the USA and Canada. It was selected for a staged reading in Mumbai for the Women Playwrights' Conference.

Domino Theatre is located at 52 Church Street in historic Portsmouth Village.

Tickets are available at the Grand Theatre (613-530-2050) and are also available at the door the night of the play.
